The access paths at Station 28 ½ and Station 32 have been closed due to storm impacts until further notice.

 

Emergency Evacuation

Sullivan's Island is a low-lying area and vulnerable to heavy rains, storm surge and flooding. Many of these are impacts can be felt during a Hurricane. As unpredictable as these storms can be, the best course of action is to be prepared. Preparing a plan and knowing your evacuation route can save time and frustration. Please view the evacuation map below to familiarize yourself with your route. Be smart, be safe and leave. if you choose not to leave, please contact the Police Department or Fire Department at 843-883-3198 and leave the information for your next of kin or an off-Island contact as the Town may need to contact them in case of emergency.
