Planning & Zoning

The Department of Planning and Zoning Services is preparing for the future of Sullivan’s Island by maintaining the residential character of neighborhoods, updating the Town’s Comprehensive Plan 2018-2028, requiring historic protection of resources, protection of open space, among other initiatives. We also review all development projects, including residential home development, commercial construction, property subdivisions, and zoning regulations.
