A Message from the Town Administrator - December 2025

Sun, 12/07/2025

Joe HendersonDear Island Residents,

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday enjoying the company of family, friends, and good home cooking! As we approach the year's end and start preparing for holiday festivities with our loved ones, I wanted to remind you of the various donation opportunities available at Town Hall for those in need.

We’re excited to continue our food drive through ECCO (East Cooper Community Outreach), and thanks to the generosity of our local Sea Island Construction, Town Hall is now a proud collection point for our local chapter of Toys for Tots. Additionally, our Police Department will keep accepting bicycle donations for all age groups—don't forget the helmets, as Chief Meadows always reminds us!

On behalf of the Mayor and Town Council, we wish you a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our staff if we can ever be of assistance.

Warm wishes,

Joe Henderson, AICP
