Fire Department

Don Harbaugh - Lieutenant, 11 years on 09/18/2025
Don has been with the Sullivan’s Island Fire Department since September 2014. In addition to his regular fire & rescue duties, he works part time for the Public Works department. Don frequently leads fire drill training for the Volunteer Fire & Rescue squad. He can be reached at dharbaugh@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Markley McGougan – Corporal, 2 years on 09/18/2025
Mark began serving at Sullivan's Island in September 2023. He is a born Charlestonian and an 11-year veteran. Mark’s passion is Firearms training and tactical operations. He acquired this passion working in a Counter Drug Operations Unit for the majority of his military service.
