Administration

Andy Benke- Town Administrator- 21 Years on 06/23/24
Andy was appointed to serve as Town Administrator for Sullivan’s Island on 06/23/03. He is charged by the Mayor & Town Council to oversee the operations of the Town, implement policies & decisions made by Town Council, budget accountability & preparation, and emergency preparedness. Joe Henderson- Deputy Administrator- 11 Years on 06/03/24
Joe has served as Director of Planning and Zoning Administrator since June of 2013. In May 2022 he was promoted to Deputy Administrator. Pam Otto- Human Resources Manager- 7 Years on 06/06/24
Pam is the Human Resources Manager and has worked for the Town of Sullivan’s Island since June of 2017.  She coordinates all of the employee benefits and risk management for the Town. Becky Templeton- Accounting Clerk- 2 Years on 06/27/2024

Fire Department

Lee Pearson- Firefighter- 4 Years on 06/25/2024
Lee was born and raised in the Mount Pleasant area.  He started service as a volunteer at with Sullivan's Island Fire in 2016 and began working for the citizens of Sullivan’s Island in March of 2019.  You can reach Lee at lpearson@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Maintenance Department

Scott Sanders- Maintenance Supervisor- 26 Years on 06/15/24
Scotty works diligently to provide regular maintenance for the Island. He is charged with assisting with the regular maintenance of public properties, like parks, beach paths and right-of-ways. Scotty can be reached at ssanders@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Police Department

Tyler Mahon - Patrol Officer- 1 Year on 06/12/2024
