Administration

Jason Blanton- Comptroller, 16 years on 10/01
Jason was hired in 2007 as the comptroller to supervise the quality of accounting and financial reporting for the Town. In addition to serving as the comptroller he serves as manager of administrative services in Town Hall. He can be reached at 843-883-5751 or jblanton@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Bridget Welch- Town Clerk, 7 years on 10/31
Bridget was hired in 2016 as the receptionist. She has elevated to the role of Town Clerk and is responsible for maintaining all official & archives for the Town, attend Council meetings, handle revenue collections and prepare deposits. Building

Max Wurthmann- Building Official, 5 years on 10/15
Max started working as a Building Inspector for the Town in 2018. In 2019, he received his license as a Residential Building Inspector.  His’s primary responsibility is performing a variety of inspections and assisting with various tasks in the building department. Fire Department

Eric Stinnett- Lieutenant, 12 years on 10/03
Eric has been working for Sullivan’s Island since 2011 but has been in the fire service for over 19 years. As an avid surfer and stand-up paddleboarder, Eric takes pride in being the first to jump on a jet-ski for a water mission. Eric can be reached at estinnett@sullivansisland.sc.gov.
