Council has recently tasked Thomas and Hutton with exploring additional recreation concepts for the Stith Park Master Plan which could further enhance the Park experience.  To gather additional information, the engineer has been asked to delay the presentation scheduled for April 16, 2024 to a later to be determined date. Appropriate notification will be provided for the rescheduled presentation date.

Fire Department

Paul Sottile

Paul Sottile, Fire Department, 5 years on 7-29-2022
Paul began as a volunteer firefighter in June 2016 and was hired full time in July 2017. Prior to the fire service, he served in the Navy on the USS Enterprise. Paul enjoys assisting the residents and visitors of Sullivan’s Island and takes pride in keeping the station and equipment in great condition. You can reach him at psottile@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Marc Micalizzi

Marc Micalizzi, Fire Department, 5 years on 7-30-2022
Marc began his career as a firefighter in New Jersey. Marc also worked overseas as a contract firefighter for the U.S. Government. He moved to SC where he first join Sullivan’s Island Fire Department as a volunteer while he worked full time for the City of North Charleston. Water & Sewer Department

John Myers

John Myers, Water and Sewer Department, 7 years on 7-13-2022
John has been with SIWSD since July 2015. He oversees the wastewater treatment plant. He currently holds a B Wastewater Treatment License, C Water Distribution License and a C Water Treatment License. He can be reached at 843-883-5749 or jmyers@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Andy Williams

Andy Williams, Water and Sewer Department, 4 years on 7-9-2022

Tyler Potter

Tyler Potter, Water and Sewer Department, 2 years on 7-6-2022
