2023-2024 Comprehensive Plan 5 Year Review
Every 5 years the Town of Sullivan's Island updates the comprehensive plan's elements. The Planning Commission members, Town staff, along with community stakeholders provide special expertise on defined areas of the plan. Please see below for documents and links associated with the current review.
Updated Sullivan’s Island Comprehensive Plan 2018-2028, 2024 5-Year Review Drafts
The New Comprehensive Plan has been recommended for approval by the Planning Commission; the Planning Commission held public meetings over the summer to review and make final revisions to the Sullivan’s Island Comprehensive Plan 2018-2028, 2024 5-Year Review draft, and voted to forward the draft to the Town Council on August 14, 2024.
The new draft will get an initial presentation and review by the Town Council at the October 7th, 2024 Town Council Workshop, 6pm. The public welcome to attend and make comments regarding the draft. Town Council will then take up the matter for 1st Reading at the October 15th, Town Council meeting. Below is a link to the Planning Commission-approved draft, as well as a link to the redline version of the May 2024 draft that the Planning Commission reviewed and made minor adjustments to over the summer.
