Stormwater Road Closure map between Station 27 and Station 32.

Join us on Saturday, July 4th as we celebrate our 250th Independence Day!
Please note the parade route change.
The parade will leave Sunrise Presbyterian Church at 9 am. It will travel down Middle Street and take a left at Station 27 and then a right taking Atlantic Avenue all the way to the Sullivan's Island Elementary School at 2014 Mike Perkis Place.
Rain or shine, the day will start with the golf cart and bike parade. If you would like to be considered in the competition you MUST have a registration number for your cart or bike. Registration will be available at Town Hall from Thursday, June 4th through Thursday, July 2nd. Town Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3rd. Limited registration will be available until 8:30am at the starting line of the parade. Once registration is closed, you may still join the parade after the registered participants, but you will not be considered in the judging. Once the parade has concluded, we will have festivities at the finish line. Kona Ice is provided for all, the Fire Department will be there to hose down willing kids, and the winning carts/bikes will get their ribbons.
The Independence Day party at the Stith Park at 2056 Middle Street and fireworks are back! The event will start at 6:00 p.m. Bring a chair or a blanket and get ready for the big show! There will be live music from the Shem Creek Boogie Band along with fireworks starting shortly after 9 PM. Please note, during such events, we do not allow dogs in the park and alcohol is prohibited.
Due to the influx of visitors to our Island during this holiday weekend we encourage all residents to plan their weekend carefully and consider your parking plan if you have guests. We encourage walking and biking to both events if possible. We will have extra law enforcement officers assisting us in directing traffic. As always, fireworks are strictly prohibited on Sullivan’s Island.
PLEASE NOTE: TOWN HALL WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, JULY 3RD AND WILL REOPEN MONDAY, JULY 6TH.
