Tropical Storm Chantal will possibly make landfall along the middle to upper South Carolina Coast late Sunday. Higher rain chances, with heavy rainfall possible, especially along the coast. Gusty winds, especially along the Charleston and Colleton County coasts, I-526/HWY 17 bridges, and over the coastal waters. Enhanced risk of rip currents through the weekend.

The Town’s fiscal year starts on July 1st. Each year, the Town Council is required, by the State Code, to pass a balanced budget by June 30th, for the upcoming year. At the end of each fiscal year, an audit is performed on the Town’s financial statements.
