Meet The Administrative Staff

Joe HendersonJoe Henderson- Town Administrator

Joe served as Director of Planning and Zoning Administrator since June of 2013. In May 2022 he was promoted to Deputy Administrator and in June of 2024 he was promoted to Town Administrator. He is charged by the Mayor & Town Council to oversee the operations of the Town, implement policies & decisions made by Town Council, budget accountability & preparation, and emergency preparedness. Jason BlantonJason Blanton- Comptroller

Jason was hired in 2007 as the comptroller to supervise the quality of accounting and financial reporting for the Town. Jacky GypinJacky Gypin- Administrative Assistant

Jacky was hired in 2021 and is our Administrative Assistant. She grew up on Sullivan’s Island, graduated from Presbyterian College, and traveled the world around before returning to her roots. Matt Jensen

Matt Jensen- Fleet and Maintenance Technician

Matt was hired March of 2024 as the Fleet Maintenance Technician. He has been a technician for over 15 years and has multilayered experience with vehicles, heavy equipment, and small equipment. Pam OttoPam Otto- Human Resources Manager

Pam is the Human Resources Manager and has worked for the Town of Sullivan’s Island since June of 2017.  She coordinates all of the employee benefits and risk management for the Town. Mary PooleMary Poole- Administrative Specialist

Mary was hired in February of 2007. Her family dates back to 1896 on the Island. Her responsibilities include resident services, water and sewer billing and general administrative support. Bridget WelchBridget Welch- Town Clerk

Bridget was hired in 2016 as the receptionist. She has elevated to the role of Town Clerk and is responsible for maintaining all official & archives for the Town, attend Council meetings, handle revenue collections and prepare deposits. Becky WilliamsBecky Williams- Clerk of Court
