Good evening Island residents,
Town Council met this afternoon to review matters related to COVID-19 issues. Specifically, there will be no changes to existing criteria for entry to Sullivan’s Island and hours of operation for the checkpoint. With regard to dine in or takeout food service, restaurants will craft a method of table reservations or to go receipt confirmation in order for patrons to pass through the checkpoint. On the matter of beach activity, for Island residents during restricted hours or non-Island residents before 8am or after 5pm, the requirements for exercise only/no chairs or coolers remain in effect through May 12, 2020.
