Attention Residents- Fall 2025 Election Information

Election Day: 
Tuesday, November 4, 2025. 
Polls open 7am - 7pm.

Voting Location:

Sullivan's Island, SC 29482

Early Voting:
Monday, October 20, 2025 - Friday, October 24, 2025
Monday, October 27, 2025 - Friday, October 31, 2025
Polls open 8:30am - 5pm

Early Voting Locations:

  • Seacoast Church- Mount Pleasant
  • Main Library- Downtown Charleston
  • Baxter-Patrick Library- James Island
  • Charleston County Elections Headquarters- North Charleston
  • Essex Village Church of Christ- West Ashley

Absentee Voting:

  • Final day to return an absentee ballot application- Friday, October 24, 2025
  • Final day to return an absentee ballot- Tuesday, November 4, 2025
  • Absentee ballots can be returned to any early voting center or to Charleston County Elections Headquarters
  • Absentee ballots cannot be returned to Election Day polling locations

Mayor

General Elections

All general elections for the office of Mayor and the offices of Town Council Members shall be held on the first Tuesday in November following the first Monday of each odd numbered year. The terms of office of persons elected in a regular election shall begin at the first regular meeting in December, and terms of those elected in special elections shall begin at the first regular meeting of Council following their election and qualification. 

Conduct of Elections

All municipal elections shall be conducted by the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration. For more information please visit https://vote.charlestoncounty.org/.

Requirements for Candidates

Each candidate for the office of Mayor and the offices of Town Council Members is required to be a resident of the Town of Sullivan’s Island and must be a registered voter of Charleston County.
