Building Department

Christina Oxford- Business License and Permit Technician- 1 Year on 07/30/25
Christina was hired in 2024 as the Administrative Assistant. She took the position of Building & Planning Department Assistant in March of 2025. Fire Department

Paul Sottile - Firefighter- 8 Years on 07/29/2025
Paul began as a volunteer firefighter in June 2016 and was hired full time in July 2017. Prior to the fire service, he served in the Navy on the USS Enterprise. Paul enjoys assisting the residents and visitors of Sullivan’s Island and takes pride in keeping the station and equipment in great condition. You can reach him at psottile@sullivansisland.sc.gov.

Marc Micalizzi - Firefighter- 8 Years on 07/30/2025
Marc began his career as a firefighter in New Jersey. Marc also worked overseas as a contract firefighter for the U.S. Government. He moved to SC where he first join Sullivan’s Island Fire Department as a volunteer while he worked full time for the City of North Charleston. Water & Sewer Department

Andy Williams- Chief Operator- 7 Years on 07/09/2025

Tyler Potter- Wastewater Collection System Lead Operator- 8 Years on 07/06/2025
