The Public Works Department works diligently to provide regular maintenance for the Island. Public Works is managed by the Fire Department and it is charged with assisting with the regular maintenance of public properties, like parks, beach paths and right-of-ways. The staff consists of one full-time supervisor, Scott Sanders, and one full-time maintenance worker. Seasonal and part-time employees are retained as needed.
