Sullivan's Island has been a Tree City USA Community since 2016, a designation that we are awarded in recognition of our community's investment in urban forestry. Every year, we gather together at Stith Park to celebrate our local tree communities and the many services they provide from forage and shelter for pollinators to their critical role in the water cycle as stormwater pumps. 

10th Anniversary Celebration of Arbor Day on Sullivan's Island
